Default should i unplug my e-manange ultimate?

my e-manage ultimate is tuned for:

Ricks header
63mm hfc
70mm invidia q300 exhaust
fipk
spoon venturi throttle body and port matched intake manifold.
we lowered vtec to only about 5500 and then smoothed out afr throughout the powerband. i was running about 12.9-13.1 the whole way through.

now the header and exhaust are off with stock parts back on. should i unplug the e-manage until i get a re-tune? or think it's ok as is until re-tune? i'll probably keep it this way for a while.

what do you think my afr looks like now?

i can leave everything wired up, but just unplug the harness from the e-manage right? and the map will go back to stock after a couple cycles?

I don't have experience with the EMU, but I doubt the car will run with the EMU simply unplugged. That said, I think you will be fine to run the car for a while without retuning. It will porbably just run rich in spots at WOT.

To clarify, the reason why I doubt it will run is because piggy-backs intercept and alter the MAP sensor signal in order to remove fueling, so unplugging it will prevent the stock ECU from receiving the signal entirely.

The harness will have to be removed and the factory harness wires plugged directly into the ecu. The main concern is that the car will run rich and wash the cylinder walls with too much gas. A wideband would tell you a whole lot more about it though..

The car isn't going to run THAT rich. He just removed a mediocre header and exhaust. Considering this is an early AP1, it will probably still run leaner than it would stock.

That could be the case but without knowing much about the original tune I would be cautious.
