Stock ECU From Another Car
Hi group,
I purchased a stock ECU from another car. I'm under the impression that I'm unable to directly swap out the AEM EMS for another car's stock ECU as the ECU is from, well, another car. I'd appreciate it if someone would help me understand what exactly has to happen for the swap to go smoothly.
Thanks,

You will have to have the "new" ECU paired up with your keys. Otherwise, the immobilizer will prevent the car from starting. I'm almost certain that you will have to go to the dealer for this.

I'd appreciate if someone can confirm whether this is doable without bringing the entire car in as I'm undergoing a project with an acquaintance-buddy of mine to put the thing back to stock.
