Default Timing controller and safc2

I have a couple of questions regarding a safc2 and possible timing controller setup. I have wired in and tuned a couple of safc setup a on cars so I am no stranger to tuning one. This is one of the reasons why I want to use it. I had rather tune the car myself then pay someone 500 dollars every time I change something. The second reason is I don't want to pay 2k and up for a ems I have no idea on how to tune. Does anyone know of a timing controller I can buy to run in addition to a safc for a 2002 s2000 turbo setup. Before anyone flames me for wanting to run a safc I have tuned a couple of 400 + hp turbo 4cylinder engines with them and I do not plan on going much above 300hp. So I think this is a feasible idea, on the previous setups one being a 4g63 and the other a srt4 motor. I didn't have the 11.1 compression ratio to worry about on the tune. So I feel that a accurate tune is more crucial on a f20c considering the compression ratio it runs. The only timing controller I have found is a vortech but I was told its limited on control as far as settings.

There are two fundamental things you need to influence with a turbo set up, the ability to retard timing accurately, and calibrate a larger CC injector. The only piggy back system that actually works to achieve this on an S2k that ive ever been exposed to or heard about is an Emanage, and the Ultimate would be the top of the mark version only worth considering. The Blue is far less advanced. There will be a learning curve, but as someone that came from learning to tune with a vafc and moving to Emanage, it can be done, but support is limited, that’s certainly an issue to consider. Id hit up your local forum to see who is running what and try and gain some support that way first. Its one of the benefits of being in a community organized club.

Honestly...just invest in a Haltech and time to learn it. The software is pretty straight forward and not too difficult to navigate. You'll be better served in the long run and have more accurate control than a piggyback and more features.
