Default 62-1

What's going on guys? my tuner was advising me this turbo for my new set up hopefully. ( http://www.treadstoneperformance.com...-1+stage+5+.63 )

what do you guys think?

Mods:
BC rods
CP pistons
darton sleeves
decked and honed block

now, what power do you think i can make?

as i was told by a friend who has been tuning s2k's for a while and said that, as for PSI, i can run as much as i want, he even exaggerated i could run up to 50pis ( i know a joke)

But in all seriousness, how much boost will i be able to max out and max out whp?
(i dont plan on using the max settins, just curious to what it will hold.

Its a decent turbo, albeit a bit old. You could look at is as being a predecessor to the GT35R. Max boost level will depend on several factors, but that turbo will max around 625whp. What kind of power levels are you trying to make?

Thanks, and the most i would want is ~600whp. I wouldn' t mind riding around town around 300-400whp.

BUT, does anyone know how much PSI can this turbo with stand?

Which BC rods? I believe one uses better rod bolts than the other.

Agree, I used these 10 years ago, they are old now. Spend a tiny bit more and get the Hurricane series instead, love them.

(Remember, always low numbers, they perform way better.)

The max revs you can run a turbo depends on many factors. The max boost the 62-1 turbo can handle is approx 26psi. Max boost isnt what should concern you though, you should worry about making your power goal when it will be the most useful.
