tuning with out a dyno ?

yes you are right , but what if I want to become a tuner (for tuning my own cars) . don't you think renting dyno is expensive for a start since I'm slow ? . eventually I will tune on a dyno .

Thats the game of tuning my friend. We all have to start somewhere. Your best bet is to talk to multiple shops and see if you can primarily tune there for a cheaper rate rather than a walk in wanting to rent the dyno.

I'm sure the G-Tech can show you results to a certain extent but it CANNOT show you TQ/HP curves and that's what's important when tuning. I highly doubt it's consistent either. The dyno is a safe place to tune a car without having to worry about other variables on the street.

So the answer to your question is, yes you can attempt to use the G-Tech and try to obtain results, but no, they will not be 100% accurate as they would be on a dyno.
