06 Custom Turbo
Hey everyone,
I'm going to be short and to the point... I am not knowledgeable on turbocharging the S2000, but realize that this is the path that I want to go down. I just need to know that since the 2006 doesn't really have a kit yet, what essential parts I would need, etc. Just an outline of what I should do really.

AEM EMS with custom harness other wise everything else is pretty much standard unless you decided to boost more than 10 psi. I also heard that you can use Greddy emanage.
But i think you should search the forum for more info on it before you get begin this project. Its better to know what it is you are putting in your car and the purpose of it.

Um I know what I'm putting on my car and the purpose... I was just asking basically what I would need to do to make it work on an 06 since it has the returnless fuel system, etc.
To turbocharge a MY06+ S2000, you'll need:
1. Pretty much any turbo kit made for an S2000 (some slight piping modifications may need to be made).
2. Engine management. For a fact, I can tell you that an AEM EMS with a special wiring harness (made by Mike @ AutoWave) will work. Depending on when you are looking to go boost, the EMS I have might be available to the general public.
3. If you are boosting over 10 psi, you will not only need a aftermarket MAP sensor but convert the fuel system to a return type.
