Default 06 Turbo Options

Ok i have been researching and researching on what turbo kit to run. I have about a 6-8k budget and would like to hit 500 rwhp. This car is just my fun car take it out on most sunny summer days and thats about it.
My car is an 06 so i have would have to run the kpro which just opened up more options. I heard Pfab came out with a twin scroll kit. I was looking into IP gt35 kit. With my returnless fuel system will i be able to achieve 500 without having to convert? Im going to run pump gas, im not interested in E85 or race gas.

How hard are these kits to install? I have done simple bolt ons but nothing of this magnitude... How easy are the instructions to follow? etc..

you might need a bigger budget if you want to safely achieve 500whp. IP bottom line kit with what it comes with is 4k.... Gonna need a head gasket 100 bucks, Oil cooler...300....Diff 400. Clutch...about 3 bills. AEM EMS...about 1800

Labor to install..

1k for turbo kit
about 5-600 for head gasket
about 200 for diff
100 for oil cooler.
about 500 for cluch install
TUNE...about 600
Now this is just the BOTTOM of the line for the kit. it doesn't include the bigger injectors.....the ball bearing turbo upgrade. sh!t this stuff isn't cheap uhhhhhh and probably something else that i forgot to mention. But this is just what would be required to run it safely to hit your 500hp goal. Then again there are guys with 600+ hp on a stock motor but i dont know what else they put into the car b4 then.

In the end your gonna end up spending more then 10k Easily. But it will be very.....VERY fun.

Or get a S/C kit...bolt on and be on your way with mid 300's for less then 5k out the door hahah (used kit ofcourse)

Real Pro's Correct me if i made a slip-up somewhere.. i just did a quick search for what i think would make the car run safe and full of potential

It is very difficult if yo don't know exactly what you're doing and are installing a custom kit.

it's relatively difficult if you're putting a kit on, but don't know what you're doing and don't have tools.

It' not too difficult if you're putting a kit on, and know what you're doing.

Most kits have instructions. If you have basic mechanical skills, engine knowledge, and knowledge of turbo related stuff, you should be able to do the install. Provided you have tools and such.
