Default 10lbs of boost with stock exhaust....

So i recently acquired another supercharger and I wanted to up the boost this time around. The set up will be..

-CTSC with AC
-10lbs (or so) pulley
-AEM EMS
-750 cc injectors
-test pipe, with stock exhuast and stock header

Will running that setup be okay?? I currently have a greddy single Ti-c 70mm exhuast but wanted to run stock for the "sleeper" factor. Will a stock exhaust have any negitive effects on this setup?? Thanks in advance for any help. If the info is too vague im sorry just let me know what more I need to state.

Stock will be fine for 10 psi...and aftermarket exhaust will yield a bit more power but it's not necessary.

it wont affect it BUT you would get better gains if u have anything bigger then stock. Plus since ur switching from a 70mm back to the stock you will notice your revv will b slower.

i'm running 12lbs with a stock exhaust right now and like others have mentioned it's only restricting power but it won't do anything bad

You should look at this from two perspectives--"power adders" and "power enablers". An aftermarket exhaust (when properly designed) will not only produce more power than the OEM exhaust, but it will enable more power via weight savings. A 70mm single exhaust is not the optimal sizing for FI applications (even if running low boost), but it is definitely better than the OEM exhaust. A stainless steel 3" exhaust is lighter than the OEM exhaust, and the titanium 70mm exhaust is probably 30 lbs lighter. Cutting vehicle weight is a power enabler in that the less your car weighs the quicker it will be.

I say ignore the stealth factor (heck, a 70mm exhaust is far from an attention getter) and run your 70mm with your supercharger kit. You will make more power, your overall vehicle weight will be lower, and your car will be quicker throughout the entire powerband.

Yeah, if volume is an issue, I welded a 3 inch Magnaflow Race muffler up to my Invidia 70mm...what an incredible volume difference with 0 impedence to flow due to straight through design...an excellent option and worth every cent.
