After only 15000 miles I think my blower is in need of a rebuild. It has gotten somewhat louder and distinct whistle has turned to more of a whine. I am thinking the bearings are gone. I am positive I saw some instructions posted on how to do a rebuild. I have searched but can't find them. Does anyone remember the thread that has them posted?

If it needs a rebuild, just send it to Paxton for warranty repairs. Let Chris@SOS know too. My 1220 needed a major rebuild after 11K miles. According to the invoice, this would have cost me over $800 to repair.

 

Out of curiosity, are your units SL?

No its not the sl. I think it is out of warranty. I was in on the intro buy.

 

Could that be caused by Overdue oil changes? Especially is non-SL.. How Did u drive the car mostly?

Were u running the STD boost.. Etc etc

 

I change my oil every 3-5 and use amsoil 10w30.

I plan on swapping out the impellar with the one from 928 motorsports.
