Default 150,000 miles and boost

Im trying to decide if i should supercharge my car. it has 150k on the clock and runs very well. I will be doing a compression check before hand, and i will be running 7-8 psi as well as installing the crank vents. I know that forced induction is going to greatly reduce the life span of any motor, and with my high mileage i dont have alot of room to play with. just wanted to see if theres anyone out here with mileage past or near 150k. and still running forced induction.

that's a lot of mileage but again it's a Honda......just do the compression test first and a leakdown test....then you'll find your answer.

I am just under 100,000 miles, was boosted for 25,000 of them, I just had a compression test done 240 across the board, this motor is pretty well built

Guessing keeping on top of service intervals with oils and all that just keeps it in tip top?? no rebuild or nothing?

the motor is untouched aside from the headgasket. stock valves, springs, retainers. stock pistons, rods, rings, head bolts. has 127k original miles on it.

i have about 55-60k miles on my boosted ap2 motor. I have some blowby and have gone through 3 headgaskets, but the motor still runs strong. You'll break everything else on the car before you blow the actual block, as long as you keep up with maintenance.

wow! how has the rest of the car held up? new trans or diff yet? i dont mind replaceing my trans or diff, just dont wanna pull the motor. that must be a very good tune! I just got stationed in spain and the aftermarket support over here is very slim, so i would most likely have to go with a comptech kit so i dont have to worry about a tune.
