2.5
Given the # of blown up NA 2.5L I wouldn't reccomend it. Inline pro removes the oil jet bolts that cool the bores and pistons which are stock on all S2k's.
Inline pro also doesn't reccomend the 2.5L for FI use.

Boring out to a 2.5 is not a good idea. You will have a very thin clearance between cylinders that will crack. Stroke is the only way to get there and considering the already astronomical piston speeds I would not recommend it.

look, steph papadakis is running the 2.4 stroker turboed, and you all know who builds the 2.4. so if your worried about quality, then go toda. but as of now, i dont think the 2.5 will have any longevity issues as long as its tuned correctly. trust me, if the one i built lets go, ill let you know, and im sure kevin will also let you know.
i personally would like to see a fully built 2.5 with either turbo or SC and backed up with all the right stuff, 9's wouldnt be a problem. if all goes well, kevins car may end up boosted. because he is a power monger, and so is mike (tuner of the car) so its likely youll see what an IP 2.5 will do with boost. later dave

Inline Pro was the one reccomending a VAFC, any they have been blown up with VAFC's and EMS. The failures posted on S2ki have been scuffed cylinder walls and pistons.
I have know idea who builds any import drag motors. Any pro drag racing motor is not built for long term reliability. (btw, I've wrenched on some Alky funny cars, and seen plenty of blown up import drag cars)
Not having oil jets is pretty decent reliablity issue for an engine designed to use them. Removing the oil jets was done to clear the crankshaft.
You want to turbo a stroked F20, use a F22C crank. You can keep the oil jets. Adding boost, and a turbo under the hood is going to crank up oil, coolant, and combustion temps. Tracked turbo cars (cars thaat go for more than 1320ft at a time) need larger radiators and oil coolers to survive.
Going to an undersquare 2.5L, that has been hobbled with no oil jets and adding a turbo isn't the best for keeping a high output small displacement engine alive. Even at 2.5L, it's still a small displacement engine.
As far as Toda quality, I had a nice broken bracket on my Toda header which they refused to warranty. I'm not much on there quality or service.
I also have no clue who any of the personal references you are making are.

id say this is due to the number of them that have ended up in the wrong hands. IE people who cant tune, or are using a fricken VAFC to tune the motor. i cant see any reason why you couldnt boost one. as long as its tuned correctly, the only thing i dont know as of now, is the quality or build process for IP's stroker crank. that would be all i could see standing in your way.

if you are looking for power there some S2000 with more than 500 whp on a 2.0L.
if you want more push at lower rpms get gears; 4.57, with 4.57@9000 rpm top speed is almost the same that 4.1@8000 rpm
