Default 2 questions regarding my comptech setup

Comptech supercharged ap1

Q's:

My boost gauge reads 20-22 on the negative side when at idle, when I give it some gas it comes up to 0ish, i don't understand this. My gauge is T'd into the vacuum line that runs to my rrfpr

Also, I can hear my after cooler pump running but when I open up the fill cap I cannot see any water flow, it just looks like its static water. I know I don't have a hose kinked and nothing is leaking either. Should I be able to see the water flowing?

Any help is very much appreciated, thanks

Most likely a kink, its a pain in the ass to get it plumbed right beacuse of the tight spaces, the hoses are usually very uncooperative. You will most definitely see the water running in there when everything is working as it should.

And for the first Q, the gauge should read that way because it is in vacuum, the CT kit doesnt make boost until about 5-6k I think it is, depending on what size pulley. As you take it higher up the RPM band you should see boost increase.

Thanks, I'll look again for a kink and take the car for a spin to check the boost gauge

Q1. It's working right

Q2. Might have to prime the system.
