I noticed 04 made 20hp more than the 03 (141.6 vs. 2003 121.6) at 5k rpm, does this mean 04's will be slightly faster than the 03's...?

By the way, I got the numbers from comptech's website.

Then again...I looked at lovefab turbo dyno numbers and the car made nearly 200 hp at 5k...

I'm pretty sure the 04 pulley is slightly smaller than the 03 kit so I've been told.....
There's been a dyno on this also that shows more horsepower.

I'm sure I'll hear about it if I'm wrong....

 

This is why properly matching a turbo to an engine can be SO beneficial. The biggest thing about this is when the TORQUE hits. Horsepower is just torque multiplied over time(rpm) anyway, so if there is 190 lb/ft of tq at 3500rpm with the LF kit, and 100 lb/ft of tq with a supercharge, with the same ultimate power goals, you wanna race?
I do recal that when we super-imposed other Supercharger dynos from the same dyno, my car had around 90lb/ft of difference right at about 4000rpm. From there, mine leveled out and the supercharge slowly climbed till it ALMOST matched mine at redline. For references, heres the dyno again(sorry, couldnt print off the super-imposed one):

the pulley is 4.6 inches in the 03 kit and 4.3 inches in the 04 kit. They still make the same boost. The 04 motor makes more power because it has a shorter redline. Speed wise I think they are the same.

whats the low end torque like in the in the supercharged s2000, is it noticable over the stock torque. what are your impressions of the kit?
