Thumbs down 2004 s2k turbo problems

Hello, I have a 2004 s2k. I have recently added a turbo kit, stage 1. I am having a problem with my blow off tube gasket blowing out, any suggestions? Thanks Dick

What turbo kit? What BOV? What gasket?
Usually, when a gasket blows out it means that the surfaces weren't flat. You can always try coating a new one with copper RTV gasket maker.

I blew out 3 wastegate gaskets when I had the Ultimate Racing kit. Is that what you're running?

I believe he meant wastegate. Check to make sure the flange on the manifold is not warped.

If it is the WG, try two things.
1. The Turbonetics wastegate gasket. It has extra thickness around the sealing area. It seems to work MUCH better than the Tial 38mm gaskets.
2. Lots of copper RTV. Yes, it does work on even the WG gasket.

yeah, it's the waste gate. I've tried rtv. I think I might have a metal gasket made for it? It's an inline pro
