2005 turbo setup
Well, I guess it would've happened sooner or later. The motor ended up pressurizing the coolant system enough to blow the lower radiator hose off. I got into a parking lot and shut it off. Was able to restart but was down a cylinder. No knocking/ ticking noises.
1,2,4 plugs look pretty good
3rd gear was pretty dirty..... the photo with flash shows a lot of extra materials on the plug lol



I'm looking at either rebuilding a f20/22 or going with a rods/ piston k20/24
I can complain though. Motor was sitting at nearly 160k..... turbocharged at around 45k.
The act organic disc was holding low 600 whp though.

If it were me, I'd reach out to Jeremy Allen on IG and have him build one of his signature F20 or F22 block builds and roll with it. I wouldn't bastard the S with a K series.
BTW, I've been working on mine lately and hope to finally have it completed by this spring.

Nice man! Would be cool to drive it finally.
I'm having a hard time justifying keeping the car f- series. The long term cost to me is barely worth it and itsonly going to get worse.
I'm in between the rods/pistons f24 or just going sleeved k24. I guess I have a lot of time to figure that out now.
I'll be watching how your build goes.... that's a bummer what happened.
