If he doesn't know if he has EMS or not and gave me his mechanic's number to call would cause me to loose interest. How you don't know wtf is in your car?....that's just me....at that price, lack of information...walk away. There are better options

Yeah something ain't right. Who the heck wouldn't know if they had ems in their car. How does he know what hp it makes? Was it tuned? Maybe he was just tuned in church's dyno or something and it is actually the base kit running the 7 psi.

If you lived in Cali you would see, that is not an option.

I would just get an unmolested S2K and an SOS kit. For SMOG tests, you only need to remove part of the kit to look stock in order to pass the visual inspection.

I'd be willing to say that 90% of the time when your buying a used modified car, your buying someone else's problems. I'd demand a complete detailed list of all the aftermarket parts on the car. "Bigger fuel injectors" could mean a wide range of things. Even just "tuned on aftetmarket ems" has a big price variance. Also, the car doesn't have an "intake system" that's all part of the supercharger.

SOS kits dont have carb stickers... if i get pulled over thats the first thing they would look for if they looked under the hood and saw a blower. Otherwise id just go turbo.
