ok guys I'm well into my second year building this and i have hit a few brick walls I'm trying to overcome. first of all I'm new to the site even though i have owned a s2k for 3 years but i keep forgetting my log ins and i have to make new ones lol. second of all I'm mostly asking because its hard to find information on 2008 turbo s2000 so I'm here hoping to sniff out some helpful tips from the experts (some of you guys lol). and third of all sure it wouldn't hurt getting some insight on how you guys like or dislike my build =)

OK SO THE BIG PROBEM IS THE CAR IS IN A CONSTANT LIMP MODE. WILL BARELY ACCELERATE AND BASICALLY 14MPH IS ITS TOP SPEED!!!!
the car has a cel and vsa light on and the tct light on.... yes its a christmas tree in there! now i have all new sensors which i will be installing tomorrow but non of those should make the car go into limp mode like it is. i even tried to uploaded a video to show that yes the car would accelerate but it goes back into this "limp mode" once you go into the next gear. can some one update me with some of the most common triggers for this limp mode or the vsa and tct to cause this .....????

Whats the VAS? I have a 07 turbo s2000 so I might be able to help a little.

 

i don't know buddy it just wont let me go over 14mph it barely accelerates and I'm still trying to upload pictures i didn't know you had to pay for this site lol..... I'm cheap with everything but my car =(

 

You don't "HAVE" to pay. Its free if you don't want to sell stuff. You can put your pictures up on photobucket and link them here.

 

Also are you talking about the VSA, or the traction control? If so trying turning it off before you start driving. It might be coming on when you break traction.

 

honestly at this point i don't even know it just wont accelerate. once you hit the next gear the car falls flat on its face

i do some where but i don't think any of it completed tomorrow I'm going back in making some custom brackets and a heat shield and trying to figure out wth is going on ..... and thank you a lot of sacrifice to have it. i have to fight off the wife on a daily basis to keep her from selling it and sold my audi s4 and my jcw mini cooper to buy a basic Bi%$% honda civic and just sold that trying o get this car done lol

 

you need to communicate with your ecu and let it tell you why its doing what its doing. then you can find the problem.

 

Looks great and you definitely spent a lot doing it right. Yeah you should talk to your tuner to find out whats going on and causing it to do that. Maybe plug your flashpro in your lpatop to check whats going on.
