If the MIL is on , something is being triggered. I dont have experience with Flashpro , but the dongle is just interfacing with the ECU , hook it up to an OBD2 scanner and see what it says. Also, upload your tune to either here or hondata.

Your problem is probably coming from the CEL??

Check the code, see what it says. My car was in limp mode from a busted knock sensor, granted it still drove 80% okay, just had massive ignition retard, so was missing 50-60whp across the board and got shit mpgs.

First step is to check the CEL though. Hook up a laptop to your flashpro, open flashpro manager, connect to the ECU and select "Error Codes" if you have a CEL on the dash, there will be something (or somethings) listed here.

Might be a stupid question but what MAP sensor are you using? If you're trying to use the stock MAP without clamping the volts, then this most definitely could be your issue. When the stock MAP see's boost, it will do exactly what you have described.

ok found some codes going to get started on those tomorrow.... had a lot of success with the new shop in diagnosing possible problems don't want to count my chickens before they hatch but its moving in what seems the right direction. i think by next week the car may be done and i can finally enjoy it..... it'll have pictures of it as it comes along but they are starting the tare down in the morning so i will update the thread as we cover each possible issue until the problem is fixed.

on a side note the car did sit for 2 years on the dot. does any one think that that could of been the problem.. ????
