Hey guys in about to get retuned. I'm 9.1 compression and I'm currently running 18 psi. Would 22 psi be safe with 91 Oct, or should I leave boost at 18?

I want 22 psi but I'm a little scared but the motor is built so #yolo

 

Ask the guy who built your motor and the guy tuning your car.

 

19-23psi on straight 91/93 octane is pretty standard for 9.0:1 compression. But the only way to tell is from the tuner. You up the boost and timing until it knocks then you run a littler less boost and timing.

Sean church is a great tuner. I would take his advice. He has always tuned all my cars. If I were you I would get a flex fuel sensor and get a flex fuel tune for 91/E85.
