Default 2nd Attempt - CTSC FMIC

i'm getting my hands on General Kratos' old piping kit he used to fit a FMIC with his CTSC. he had NO boost loss and was running 5psi with 2.5" piping and a Precision 600 intercooler. i'm running 6-7psi right now and i was wondering if the 2.5" piping with the Precision 600 would work for me as well. basically, do you need bigger piping/bigger intercooler for only 1-2psi more boost?

thanks

You're fine...7 psi is a low boost setup and the precision 600 is overkill for this setup. That being said, you'll have plenty of headroom for more boost!

Is it possible to rotate the charger to the passengers side to eliminate that U-bend? If you can it might flow a bit better.

it is possible to do that. that was how the last kit i had made was set up. but i don't like having the filter right behind the radiator fan. also it's very tricky to get the piping out of the headlight hole/around the headlight bracket/back down and around to the fmic without getting too close to the wheel.

i plan to just leave it the way it is in the picture cause General Kratos had no problems with it. i'm tired of trying to be a pioneer and running in to problems

thanks! what i was wondering if having an intercooler that's too big would lose any boost because it's more space to push air through.

i ended up not buying the piping kit because after further research and talking to more people, it turns out that this fmic kit actually did lose that much boost.
