Default 3.2" pulley options

So if I'm gonna be boosting with a 3.2" pulley on a basic stage 2 SOS kit, I see a lot of people having issues with slippage on the sos pulley.

For those of you on these high boost pulleys, what are you doing to achieve no slippage? Does Reichard or Asp make SOS compatible non slip pulleys?
I don't want to resort to a larger crank pulley just yet

Reichard quit making pulleys last time I checked, I actually went to his shop in MD and he is totally into some government contracts and no time for racing parts. If you can find one, they were pretty good, I had a 1.9, but sold it a few years ago. You could probably cut the grooves yourself, but they would not be pretty.
I fixed my belt slip by selling my SC and buying a turbo...I know that is not much help, but I just could not get the high boost and no slip...but other have.

Best answer I ever heard was to get more belt wrap with an idler pulley. over tightening the belt to compensate, can damage the blower. gritty pulley makes for short belt life. my 2 cents.

I do know that CNC Speedshop here in NC built a special mounting plate that incorporated an additional pulley that helped quite a bit on a track car that they work on a bit. You may want to contact wadzii and see if that is something he can do or if it was just a one off deal.

No belt slip with my Novi1000 and SOS 3.2" pulley for past 10k miles. We did tighten it tight.

Tensioner has 30k on it with 3.6, 3.4 and 3.2 pulleys and no issues.

I use a 3.0" pulley. First. I used a SOS pulley with the supplied Dayco and then a gatorback belt. I only saw 16psi max due to belt slippage. Then I got a richeird racing pulley and and used my gatorback belt. There was some slippage (I forgot the exact psi), but things improved after getting a gates green stripe belt. With that combo, I can see 21psi on cool nights. From that, you should take the belt into consideration too.

I never had belt slip issues running the 3.2". Why some do and some don’t, I can only speculate. But yes, an important aspect of helping to prevent belt slip is getting the most belt wrap you can around the pulley. So run the largest belt before you run out of adjustment. Also when my 3" idle pulley bearing when out, I replaced it with a 4" pulley due to what was available at the time, this may or may not have helped some. Should help a little bit with keeping more consistent tension on the belt anyway, I would think. Back when I ran smaller pulleys on my old NV1000 I took a dremel and cut my own cross groves to help the belt bite a little better.

What size is the supercharger shaft where the pulley goes? The Vortech is about 0.78 inches.

If memory serves correctly, the current line of 1200/1220 Paxtons run a smaller shaft like 5/8. The older NV1000 was 7/8".
