I haven't installed my kit, but the previous owner put some slots in my 3" pulley to help with belt slip.

I will be using a 2.8" reichard racing pulley. From the way it looks, it shouldn't slip it all. It is a masterpiece.

I also have a few other SOS pulleys for sale if anyone is looking!

Work of art for sure...he started making those for the Mustang guys who ran Paxton SC setups. It will not slip.

No, my novi 1500 has a slightly higher max rpm, but it will only be over spinning by like 4500 rpm at 8500 rpm. Which in comparison to now much some people on here are over spinning their 1200's, it will be fine.

This pulley looks like it will go through some belts though haha

I ran the SOS 3.2" pulley on my Novi 1220 and never experienced belt slip. This was on my MY00 F20.

Just out of interest, did any of you guys start out with a bigger pulley before you went for the 3.2? or did you all jump straight to 3.2?
For those that didn't, how much different did the car feel power wise?
For the last year i've only been rocking a 4.2 pulley, pretty stoked to put the smaller one on ASAP, seem to remember a few of the guys on here saying the mid range power is a lot more intense! Just hope i don't get too much belt slip!

Expect more power across the entire rpm range, but a night and day difference about 5k rpm and up. Your basically adding another 100hp at peak. So will feel similar to the change from N/A to where you are now, again.
