Default 3 inch exhaust probs with TS diffuser

Hey all.
I just ordered a top secret rear diffuser and whent down stairs to tell my s2k goodnight but before doing so I was looking at the exhaust and dont think that the diffuser will clear it (I have a 3inch custom with the HKS carbon Ti muffler). Now if any of you have seen the HKS carbon muffler, you know its big, and was wondering if any of you other FI (i have a custom turbo kit on my s2k) guys are running a 3inch exhaust with a muffler that clears the diffuser. If so what kind, and what muffler and how much cutting to the diffuser did you have to do. Thanks for all the help.

Bruce, I have a LoveFab 3" exhaust, which uses a VERY large Apexi muffler and I am also running a TopSecret diffuser, but to make it fit it was a HUGE PITA and it required A LOT of cutting. If I were to do it again I would have just sold the diffuser, which is what I would reccommend to you unless you don't mind cutting half of it away. It depends how low your exhaust hangs also, but a significant amout of cutting will definitely be needed.

Doh!
ok so I thought about it some. Do you think running a strait 3 inch with like a mid muffler or resonator would be loud? I mean its going to loud, but would that be a better way to go then trying to cut 1/2 of the diffuser? Thanks for the input.
