So is teh 2,2L engine that much beter? I'm talking about both sueprcharged.... not stock vs stock....

Just wondering if I should have goten a AP2 or not.....

AP-2 does not rev fast enough to make boost.!!!

Eh, its about the same man. The 2.2L uses a smaller pulley to create more boost because of the lower redline. In the end, they come out to around the same HP.

The only thing the AP2 really has is (in my opinion) slightly better gear ratio's in the tranny.

I wouldn't sweat it.

To answer your question...No.

AP2 is newer though and will help your re sale value, if you opt to out that way.

Higher redline = higher boost. You can get smaller pulleys for the AP1. So AP1 is a better platform for SC.
