Default 3 options

hello everyone

what would you do if you were me
most of you know my story.
iam supercharged @15psi and i broke my engine

the first option is to buy an engine build from laskey racing and tune with AEM this time, but this needs lots of waiting.
i dont think that i will have the car onroad before october
more than a week have past and iam waitting for a shipping quote
its going to be lots of money because its a long trip to Greece)

the second option is to buy a used 2,2 JDM engine that will arive here in a week with 40000km and tune with AEM.
in this case i will have the car ready before 10 of august but i dont now details about this engine
do you thing that its ok to supercharge a 2.2 engine

and the third option is to build an engine here in Greece and let the guy who builded the engine tune it in order for him to be responsible for the project if something goes wrong.
most engines that were builded in Greece are now broken and thats what worries me

so what is your opinion?

Buy a New Short block from Me here (from Honda Here) For around 2000 + euro Export price and pay the Taxes for greece. The shortblock will take 2 weeks to arrive.

Or build your block in greece...Buy forged pistons from DH racing Sleeve your block, see what other parts you need to change like Crank or rod bearings and dont worry,
If i was you i would build my block and it would cost the cheapest.Maybe max 500$ for the pistons Shipped, 200-300 euro for block Rebuild -sleeve and work, and you have your engine in top condition.
Or buy a New shortblock With all the Right tolerances and still dont worry.

What i am saying basicaly is that you do your block this time and not buy an used engine this time,do it yourself and you will know what you did and in what condition is your engine.....
Did you open your block? What happend? do you have spare parts from your last one you changed?
In anyway do it yourself and you will have your car back on the road back in 3 weeks.
Here are the pistons i run into,.

cheers and dont worry about the block too much its not science-fiction stuff.

Hey Yiannakos. What exactly happened to the block? It'd be worth checking if your current block can be salvaged. If you've only scored the cylinder walls you could resleeve the block, pop in a set of new low-comp pistons, get everything balanced and it will probably cost much less than a new engine...

P.S. I believe the DHracing link in your post is referring to a different enine to ours. The f22a was used in preludes and accords, it's not the same as the f20c/f22c engine.

P.P.S I haven't had any personal experience with DHracing but reading through some of the posts on this site, a number of people haven't had good experiences dealing with them. Just a head's up.

P.P.P.S. btw, on the head-job Stena, those results you posted were pretty impressive.
