i will be doing a 3mm headgasket install this winter. i understand that NO ONE has sucessifully used ARP headstuds with the 3mm headgasket, so i will prob be using stock studs.

i am confused about the cam pin adjustment. does anyone have a pic of this?

any help is appreciated.

Thx

Don't have a pic either, but I'm not sure where you heard that you can't use ARP headstuds w/ it. I'm using them just fine and don't really understand why anyone would think you couldn't.

Uh, I'm using ARP studs with the 3mm gasket and have about 3K miles, some of those pretty hard, and two tuning sessions on the dyno without a single problem.

Don't know who the "NO ONE" is, but maybe the people like me just haven't posted anything with regard to this because we haven't had any problems at all.

I do know this -- the shop that installed the gasket said that it is very important to use the proper moly lube and proper torque techniques when installing any head gasket whether you use studs, a 3mm gasket or whatever.

Now my only problem is running out of injector at 16lbs. of boost at around 432whp/295lbs.
