Default 3mm hg install

so i will be installing my second ip 3mm hg this weekend, i am going to use a ip 3mm metal spacer with honda outer layers, i wanted to know if i should use copper spray or not, i see some saying use it and others saying not to, whats the benefit of the copper spray? ill be using moly lube to 90ft/lbs also. also any tips from people who have their hg lasted a long time would be appreciated.
thanks

I didnt use copper spray, cleaned the holes for the studs very well (they usually fill up with oil when removing the head, Also put hondabond/rtv on both sides of the hg around the timing chain housing.

Torqued to first to 60ft/lbs then 90ft/lbs with ARP lube as told by calling arp tech and inlinepro...

so far so good with about 5000miles @ 26psi daily

i agree, but thing is for him to do it any other way will cost a lot more money and time. he lasted a long time on that thing, so at least do it once more and then decide where to go from there.

Around the timing chain cover. It states it in the Honda Helms manual.

i have used copper spray on one headgasket, and then two without. Both gaskets lasted the same amount of time.
