3mm HG questions
Approximately how much does it cost to install 3mm HGs? What should the compression ratio be after it is installed? Can it be installed and driven NA motor until turbo is installed (will it be too weak)? any recommended shops in socal or whats the difficulty for self install?
thanks

You can't just do 'pistons'. Changing pistons involves full removal and disassembly of the bottom end, machining and fitment of sleeves, and reassembly and installation.

It will lower compression to 8.8 to 1.
The new trend on the board is no gasket but they have been proven to make good power.
I think many people that use them do not go the extra step of retorqueing the head after heat cycling the motor. If u get one be sure to re torque.
I myself am going with a 2.03mm sce gasket and um doing my own install.
unsure of cost to install and yes you can drive n/a on it
