Sorry to hear

Apparently the DW pump is the only pump that can maintain fuel pressure with absolutely no fuel in your tank!

What good would that do once the injectors open?

Which filter are you using on the pump? The wrong one could be keeping your floater up.

I'm running a FB340. I usually never go lower than 1/4 tank. But truthfully I have a few times since I don't know where all the e85 stations are so I gotta wait till I get back to my area to grab it and I've pushed it to a bar left. No issues here.

I had a s2k on the dyno a few years ago with pump gas that went lean all of sudden. We looked over everything and could not find out what went wrong. We then pulled the pump out and the sock was pushing the float valve up 1/4 of the way. The gas gauge on the car had more then 1/4 tank but the tank was almost dry.
This honestly makes the most sense, since it only happens around corners. I have never had an issue under acceleration. Do you think a surge tank would help?

Running the stock fuel filter. Before I installed it, I ensured the floater was not hitting anything, but it could have shifted due to vibrations etc.

When I took off the fuel pump to reinstall a spare one to get my car running, this is how it looked like. As you can see, it clears the filter. I was at 3/4 a tank when i took it off, and I noticed how low the fuel level was to the baffle plate. This tells me two things. That I should avoid taking any corners any lower than 3/4 tank, or maybe i'm taking corners way faster than the average s2000 owner which causes fuel to get thrown out the baffle. I'm just trying to avoid this from happening again. Props to Full Blown for helping me out, they have been extremely patient and helpful. One of the best vendors I have dealt with!

Wish I could help, running the same pump without holes or other modifications. Many miles on track and fast corners. Hmmm...
