That will only get worse with time, and you have the CDV entirely to blame for it. (or maybe you're an awful driver and that's the cause, but I'm giving you benefit of the doubt here )

Your car has 8k original miles? If so, wear that clutch out quick and take it in. Mine went out at 16k and they literally told me "well it's a wear part, so we just can't cover it. now if it had happened before 12k miles, we'd consider it because that would be abnormally short." Never been closer to blowing a vein in my forehead than I was that day.

Sympom - after some spirited driving & clutch is nice and warm, a quick 2-3 shift would have the RPM's lagging at ~4k for a second or two, then eventually the clutch would lock down and car starts accelerating again. Sometimes happens 1-2 or 3-4, but not as often. I think this is only due to the typical loads & change frequency in those gears during spirited driving. I never go to 1st unless car comes to a stop, and shifting into 4th at redline is typically WAY outside of safe limits for the street.

To me, I've noticed that if you shift so that you get on the throttle just as you fully engage the clutch, there will be no slip. Sometimes though, I do get on the throttle a little before and it does slip a little, but that's cool with me. On the upside of that, I think after getting an aftermarket PP and Clutch, the CDV will help make things smoother while having the clamping force needed.

I'm sure that's something Marcus can admit to since he has the CDV and aftermarket clutch and PP.
