^^ No offense, but I'll chime in and say that anyone attempting to hit 600whp on pump gas is insane.

Just some numbers for everyone.

Cody, the owner of LoveFab has hit 468whp out of his GT4088R at 16psi using 93/120 Octane mix (approximately 110 octane)

John, the owner Inline Pro is currently pushing 560whp on race gas with his GT35R @ 25psi. His motor is fully stock, except for a 3mm head gasket. On pump gas he was able to put down approximately 450whp - give or take a few, I don't have the chart infront of me.

Personally, I would never even think about trying to reach that much power on pump gas. Through what I have been told by tuners over and over again - its best to limit your horsepower on pump gas somewhere between 450whp and 500whp. Race gas is a completely different story as it burns better and allows you to turn the boost higher.

By the way, QuickySRT - you put down 525whp on the Inline Pro Turbo Kit at 25psi. The owner of the company has put down over 43whp more at the same boost level, using a technically stock motor. You may wish to review your setup before making the accusation that you "have taken the kit as far as it will go" when referring to Inline Pro, a well-known company in the import scene.

Well, it's safe to say that you didn't make your fortune moonlighting as an English teacher. Good luck!

go the love fab route.

i have taken the inline kit as far as it will go with pump gas and still no 600hp.
I don't know squat about turbos, but why the heck the need to reduce compression all the way to 8:1?

Let's just say that I don't think that was aimed directly at you. For every young guy with a nice car and loads of money there are hundreds that are doing it hard (for whatever reason) and I assume it was them he was talking to.

The one thing that those other guys get that you may well have missed out on is experience and appreciation of simple things. Still, given the choice I'd rather have the car and bankroll.

Still, your "It's all about me" attitude does seem to be working for you.

600HP from a 1.9 or 2.1L inline 4 is a bit of a stretch don't you think? I'm not saying it can't be done. I'm sure that with enough money you can do anything but you aren't going to do it on gasoline and you aren't going to do it for long. You are talking about 40-50K in mods and labor to get there minimum for what amounts to a dyno queen.

You would have been better off with a big block V8.

Nice to see the rich kids are helping pay our multi-thousand dollar monthly internet bill Maybe you could spread some of that bankroll around and help the community out a bit. We've also got to spend about 5 grand on new servers in the next month. If you've got 20 or 30 grand to spend on HP please send $50 my way so I can put it to use.

Thanks
