Default 600+hp guys vs 500+hp guy what have issues hace u had.

Hey guys I'm stuck between keeping the Turbo I have S256 should be good for 500+ or going with a S259 with bullseye billet batmo wheel that's rated at 650hp. Its a $1700 upgrade and not sure if its worth it.

So you guys making 600 what issues have you had and if you been to the track what 1/4 mile times have you ran?

Same with the 500+ HP guys. What issues and 1/4 mile times have you ran.

Also hows this much power on the street? I plan to do boost by gear but I can't make my mind up if I should go with the bigger Turbo or stay with the smaller one.
My target was 600 on E85 but if I'm going to run in to alot of issues I may just save the money and run the smaller Turbo.
I have a new stage 2 diff and comp stage 4 clutch. Stock f20 with upgraded oil bolts and will be updating the retainers and springs to ap2.
Summer weekend car that I do take to the strip.

Thanks guys I'm open to advice!

I'm only 450 but no issues. From my years on this site seems guys that stay around 500 whp live longer then those that go for 600.

Yeah I was at 405whp bit that was a supercharger setup. Now I'm stuck between shooting for 500+ or 600+

I want 525whp on e85 and id1000. I also want to know what a 500whp traps in the 1/4 mile.

Yesh I think my current Turbo could make 500-550. I'm going with id1300 since there all stainless and I will be on e85 and will allow me to go 600+HP. I was trapping 117mph with my comptech setup at 15 psi.

I want id1300. But they are too much for me right now. I don't think people have had trouble at all with id1000 and e85 though.

I had 520 on my first s2k, not including the two bottles. I shattered 2 on one tranny and 3rd on another. I had the 300z inline pro rear diff kit, so no issues there. I just purchased the s2k from maryland with the inline pro turbo and the ppg tranny. Shooting for 800hp, I'll let you know how it goes.

Were you shifting hard when the gears went? I would really like to keep the stock trans.

I didn't have any issues at the ~600whp range (although the car has yet to see the track lol)
