.70 A/R to small for 600whp?
Have a pfab elt Mani T3. My goal is 600whp with E85. I want to stick with Borg turbos but what I'm finding is there t3 turbos are. 70ar. I was looking into a adapter plate to run a t4 but then I would have to redo my down pipe/exhaust. Kinda want to hear from people that have ran a .70ar on this car. Its a street car that I do take to the strip. Any input would help!

a .70 A/R will be fine to support your goals. i think it depends more on your turbo selection. the bigger the turbo the lower the boost you're going to run to make the same power. the housing mostly becomes a problem when you're running higher boost. it will still support the power you're just going to get some backpressure. a good wastegate setup should be able to relieve some of it i think? i wouldnt go bigger than a 62mm turbo. i think a S632/S300SX FMW would be nice choices. but you're going to have the problem with the downpipe being able to fit unless you still plan on having the exhaust out the fender.
personally.. if you want to keep your manifold still and change turbos i would run a GT35R. It will fit the manifold better since the covers are smaller. get a .82 T3 housing. if you want to get a borgwarner i dont think it's going to fit because of space constraints. the compressor housing is very close to the valve cover as is the exhaust housing. i think with my turbo blanket on there is was touching the valve cover.
If im not mistaking, if you go to a larger borg warner the housing is going to be much larger and you're going to have a problem.
i would also not run a BW unless it was in a TS housing. if you want to change turbos i would seriously give a consideration of selling the hot parts kit( manifold, downpipe, dumptube, wastegate, intake, turbo) and purchasing a different setup

I can get the S300sx fmw in a 3" vband so it should fit my down pipe fine??? or am i looking at this wrong. If not the new S256 fmw should fit and can make up to 650 but also only a .70ar. people got me scared that its to small lol.
Dbo do you not think the S362 fmw will be to big to fit this setup?
