IMO if it can do a few dyno pulls it can hold up on the street/track if the tune is good enough. If something was going to fail from mechanical stress it would happen on the dyno and quickly. Most failures are tuning related.

Nice numbers, I'm really curious to see what these things can do and hope to sacrifice a motor to find out in the upcoming off season

Thats what I'd like to see pictures of.

Are the people running 8.8's doing it as one-off's or are their mounts and such available?
