yeah...350or 400 and 450hp is a bragging right and a badass in its own right..you say to yourself..i nerly doubled the Stock power..that must be a something..
but than comes along a 650hp s2000 on this forum or something freakish like this 2Jz and than you think to yourself, was it worth it, should i have kept my S2000 stock? and not waste time..
but i must say, best satisfaction is when you change parts on your car and every time it adds power even,if its 10 hp you notice you are happy, and 900+hp driving needs a school behind it.
Since if a guy buys a S2000 and thats the most powerful car he drove, or even a 400hp M3 ...900hp in a s2000 is a totally different league.

If you think like that, then no one would modify their car because there will ALWAYS be something faster...ALWAYS, this car included -- a 1500hp viper would own it .

Modifying your car should never be about out doing someone, it should be about expressing yourself.

Yeah but lets keep things in prospective, its fun to have some bragging rights and also be known as one of the big kids, but those are only secondary to just the pure joy you get in building and driving a car that you made faster then stock. I have allot of pride in my car becuase I did all the work myself and earned every one of those 350whp. Its just about having fun. I dont have any regrets about building my car to its current form, its significantly faster then stock and not just in a strait line. I would be quite bored with a stock S at this point so again no regrets.

I am with s2000junky here, think a 300whp, or 400whp s2000 still is mighty fun, and the project itself of doing the tuning or building to the extent you want/can handle, is for me the most rewarding.

I myself do not agree on that tuning my car is to express myself, thats just a minor positive benefit. I bet the social situation and friend community have big impact on this aswell.

However, projects like these are what makes the forced induction section of these forums so interesting. Stretching limits and achieving great results. Thats entertainment on a high level for me at least. So I wanna express a thanks for sharing this. Feel free to post more pics/vids! .

And yea I still wonder if the car have a special planned purpose?
