Looks like it's going to be a nice build.

You did upgrade the valves to Supertech inconel exhaust and nitrate coated intake valves; right? If you kept the stock valves and are going for fairly big power, the stock exhaust valves with the added heat can't handle it over time and will eventually warp, wear the guides and will break and drop.

What's "fairly big" to you though? I mean, you're making 741whp lol.

I just just made a thread asking about the gasket, and all but one person (out of about 15) 100% Recommended it.

About the new valves, No, I did not upgrade them. I will be looking at making 450-500WHP right now. Do you think I will need new valves at this power range? I know I could probably make more, and I will some day, But I want to keep it there till I have the money to upgrade the Transmission & Differential. I have already upgraded to AP2 Transmission Differential, & Driveshaft.

The stock valves will warp at 400 whp. That's significantly more power and considered fairly big power. I had my head built after about 3 years (roughly 9000 miles) and 400 whp before going any further with power. The shop that built my head said it was a good thing I decided to build the head when I did and put new valves in because the stock guides were already worn and I had 3 warped exhaust valves that would have eventually dropped and trashed my motor. I'm just giving you a heads up. I'm not some newb here, I have been a member here since early 03 and have had my S boosted for 8 years. I know a thing or two about this car.

I do not doubt you at all, I just wanted to know. Thanks for the advise, I will definitely keep that in mind.

On another note. I want opinions on my intake manifold. I am getting it powder coated and was wondering what color? I have pretty much decided on black, but I am not set on it. Mostly just wondering which black, Gloss, Satin, Matte, Crinkle???

Let me know what you guys think!

Also I should be getting my Turbo manifold from Inline Racing any day now. I will post pictures when i get it.

I myself like the crinkle satin black. I did my valve cover like that and it looks awesome like that and makes the engine bay look so clean.
