Default Accompanying mods with SC/AC

I've been reading up but have not found a thread that states EVERYTHING needed to run a Comptech SC/AC smoothly. I've found bits and pieces here and there but I'd feel a lot safer getting it all from one thread. And I haven't found anything on necessary differential mods (is it necessary?). I just wouldn't want to take info from a whole bunch of different threads that are really addressed only to specific users.

So I guess my official question is: What would I need to run a Comptech SC/AC as smoothly and reliably as possible while still maximizing power gains? This includes drivetrain, breathing, electronic, and other engine mods.

Thanks for your help!

Everything that comes with the kit, and don't touch anything else. This is to run smoothly and safely, if you want a little more kick, get the 7lb pulley, vafc, 550's and someone with a dyno and brains.

S/C on stock boost is a bolt on...if you have the complete kit nothing else is needed.

so you just need to buy the complete kit, drop it in. and call it a day?

with nothing else needed? not even a tune on the stock boost?

Thats it. There is nothing to really tune since everything should be set right and you don't have much to play with as it is. I would dyno it after the install just to check that the car was indeed making power and Air/Fuel Ratio wasn't going crazy anywhere.

The best investment you can make is a wideband gauge from AEM, sure its like $300 but its well worth it, cause it might save you from blowing your motor one day.

What I had on my 13psi setup, which you should not do.

AEM EMS
RC750's
AEM 3.5 Bar Map
3.15" pulley

It was more of an experimental project since no one knew sizes and specs for the 2.2l correct pulley sizes. Melted 2 Pistons and spun a couple rod bearings, so yeah, it didn't work out.

eh... I would consider a colder set of plugs...
Really, my Comptech setup has been tremendously reliable despite frequent beatings. It's not like you have to baby it just because it's FI.

You might also want to consider budgeting a new clutch. Mine started slipping 2 months after I installed the charger. Get it on the dyno to check your a/f and to see if your clutch is holding at the higher rpms.

on a stock CTSC w/AC installed, would it still be possible to run with aftermarket I/H/E without adding anything else such as engine management and injectors? how about increasing the boost to 7lbs would still be safe without upgrading those two(emanage/inj)?
