on a stock CTSC w/AC installed, would it still be possible to run with aftermarket I/H/E without adding anything else such as engine management and injectors? how about increasing the boost to 7lbs would still be safe without upgrading those two(emanage/inj)?
You risk blowing your engine (especially if you don't tune the car with the 7psi pulley). I've heard of many people blowing it due to the running lean because of header / exhaust combo.

wow...so if you already have exhaust/header you have to get it tuned?

Unless you want the risk of blowing your engine, yes. It might not need to be tuned but at the MINIMUM you need to get it on the dyno to make sure your A/F is in check.

but with the stock boost and just tune it with the FRP, would that make the car run safely eventhough it already have both header, exhaust and testpipe? or our ECU can still cope up with those changes?

I'm running 7lbs with a test pipe and Mugen headers. It's tuned via the FPR. Just make sure your a/f is in a safe range on the top end.

Depends on the car. Some people can just get away with the FPR where others A/F is so over the map they need some kind of tuning unit.

Remember when you turn up the FPR, your also richening up below vtec (which is rich to begin with) so some cars have issues with that (stuttering, bogging, etc).

Could you use a VFAC2 or Neo to get a/f numbers down to a safe level? I think that Aem Ems is the best solution but isnt it a little overkill for a car with only H/T/E? I need to get my a/f down just a tad and Im thinking about using the NEO. (I have stock with vortech, but want H/T/E with stock pulley)
