ACT vs INLINE PRO Clutches
Looking to get either mases kit or the race kit from inline pro. With either kit I know I will have to upgrade my clutch and I will also upgrade my rear end sometime after that. I have been looking at the ACT clutches as well as the stage 4 and 5 inline pro clutches. Has anyone had experience with both of these to give any advice with what to go with? Also whats the big difference between stage 4 and 5 besides what it says about 250% more tq with stage 4 and 300% more tq with the stage 5. Kinda thrown off since they both cost same amount of money I believe. Appreciate any help.
Stage 4 is 6-puck and stage 5 is 4-puck I believe. 4 puck will hold more torque but be slightly harder to drive.
I currently use the 6-puck sprung clutch and after some practice I got the hang of it to where I can drive the car 90% like stock.
With the fear of crank walk, I rather not test the ACT system but that's IMO

I'm thinking about a Clutchmaster stage 3 myself, I don't think I can deal with a puck style on a daily.
I still waffle between getting a SOS kit next year or going Inline Pro, but with either kit my goals are 360-400whp... I'd be VERY happy with 380ish since it's a daily driver... Actually i'd be happy with 360, ecstatic with 380, and doing back flips at 400
I did talk to one of the guys at Inline yesterday, and if I go that route I'm dropping it off and letting them do the turbo and tune install
They know what they are talking about (so does Mase, I just like cast iron manifolds).
But anyway, I'd look at a CM stage 3 before the ACT but that's just me.

Slip em once and its time for a new clutch.

Well I went with the stage 5 clutch from Inline and got the lighter flywheel to go along. Now i just wait and see what mase does with the dbw turbo kit. I hope he Its between his kit and the race kit from inline. Leaning more to mases kit though.
