I've been using the ARP studs that go onto a SRT-4 and they work flawlessly

how long are they? i know they are 8x1.25 but i don't have any on me to measure the right length.

Could probably just contact ARP and ask how long their SRT-4 studs are?

I don't understand this. I have the ARP SRT4's manifold studs and just tightened them down real good and haven't had any issues in over a year.

Also, I think the ARP's nuts have a pitch in the threads that help to lock the nuts down to the studs once they are tightened to the flange. I've worked in aviation for many years and they use the same type of 12 point nuts and they work great.

The stock studs are my problem. ARP's probably would have worked too, but the Stage 8's where on the shelf at my local shop. I just wanted something I would never have to worry about.
