Yeah, I guess that my DD can keep me in check with how slow most cars are after driving a 450hp s2k.

also, if this helps any, I have a DD so I wouldn't be DDing a Porsche 996tt if I got it.

Peter, I would definitely go with the 996TT. Its a much more complete car overall, mroe balanced, and lots of fun.

Yes, it will be more expensive, but overall you will likely enjoy it much more.

Do you live in Cali ? I was under the impression is was rather difficult to have a highly modded car there ?

Also do you work on the car yourself ? I haven't done much work on a Pcar but I know a couple of guys that have one its a lot more difficult to do most things on the Pcar then the S2K.

This, you're comparing apples to oranges. If money is no object why the hell wouldn't you get a twin turbo Porsche?

My bro has a 997. Honestly the car is far superior to an S, but then again you could buy a few S's for the cost of one. With that being said if money is not an issue go with it. I know that the Porsche warranty is truly amazing (they typically bend over backwards especially for repeat buyers), but I'm assuming you won't have that with a 996, then get prepared to pay $$$ for anything needed for that car. Mods- will end up being less expensive vs. maintenance. His insurance is crazy and he had to up his life insurance for another million when he got his car (Dr. hospital thing). Then again he's got money to kill and if you do as well, I say go for it.
