Aem basemap for turbo s2k?
Does aem make some sort of basemap that can be downloaded to get a turbo s2k drivable? What do people normally do before they get a professional tune? I'll be doing all the grunt work myself on installing everything. But itd be nice to get a base tune, and run maybe a few psi for a few hundred miles for break in and more importantly to see if theres any issues at all before taking it to a tuner to get final tune. Id hate to just install everything, and trailer it to get tuned, and on initial start up, find out i forgot something small or whatever. I know its essentially very stupid and nearly impossible to use the stock ecu with id1000s etc. Lol, so a base turbo tune to get rolling would help
This is something your tuner should provide for you. Tell them about your setup and they should be able to make a basemap. I would NOT drive around for a few hundred miles on that, it's really just enough to get the car started and get to the tuner.
