Default AEM EMS 1012 base map help

ok so here is an outline of what i have done with the ecu sofar.

pluged into car
connected to PC
loaded AEM supplied "start .CAL"
calibrated for RC750cc 12ohm injectors
calibrated for AEM 2bar MAP
saved new "start.CAL"
Uploaded "start.CAL"
went to home
pushed in clutch
pressed start button

the car cranks and fires fine but doesnt stay running.
it dies out after 2-5 seconds.

here is what is done with the car so you guys can help me out a bit.

Modified "Speedcraft" turbo kit with turbonetics T3/T04E 60-1 turbo
RC750cc 12ohm injectors
AEM 2bar MAP
AEM truboost guage type controller
EGR system delete with block off plate
AEM EMS 1012-0115 ECU
AEM UEGO wide band O2 guage/ sensor

i havent changed any of the factory sensors other than the map sensor and ECU. i was wondering if there was something else that i have to tell the ECU for the EGR delete or if there is something i missing in the start map calibration???

or if anyone has a better base map or startup map that i can use to figure this out would be awesome. i will be driving to mase with the car once this thing runs decent enough to make it there since he is only 2 hours away from me most of the time. please help me find my errors or correct them if i can. thanx guys.

EDIT: before i forget the start map from aem is pre calibrated for a stock 2001 s2000 with and AEM V2 intake. all i changed with it is the injectors and map sensor input. so i have to tell it to recognise the turbo to be able to start?

did u set the timing sync?

sometimes you need to mess wiht the startup fuel/timing settings/trims as well, and the IAC valve settings.
