I have an mtx-l wideband sensor and gauge since I wish to view the afr on my in car pc will it work as well as an inline uego sensor in the aem series 2 when tuning and day to running as say a native supported uego?

Will work exactly the same the EMS won't know the difference. Just wire up one of the 0-5volt outputs from your wideband to the proper input(Lambda 1 most likely) on the AEM EMS.
