Default AEM ems 2 and uego

Hi,

If i had an aem series 2 ems and serial gauge, would i still need the UEGO gauge controller, to monitor wideband?

the 1052U is the ONLY aem ECU that has the wideband included in the unit, correct?

The Series II boxes do not have the optional wideband, only the 30-1052U. I would HIGHLY suggest that you get an exteranl wideband which is tied into the EMS through a single wire. Just remember to ground the external controler to the same place as the EMS.

Since you already have the serial guage then you can read the AFR's through it if you get an external wideband.

I have the AEM series 2 and the AEM wideband guage installed in my car. I just need to splice the 0-5v signal wire from my wideband guage to my ems for it to read it.

Picked the AEM wideband guage in my AEMtuner settings and done.

The AEM widebands don't need to be calibrated, so it was almost plug and play.

Works good for me.
