when installing aem ems, is it plug n play? and do I have to removed the ESM (Electronic Signal Modifier) that come with the comptech supercharger? thanks for your reponses.

Yes, you have to remove the ESM and your stock ECU. Then there is some technical steps and then tuning.

thanks for the response. what other techical steps is there, I thought the aem ems is just plug and play.

You have to set the timing and the TPS position limits. Both are very easy. Check the AEM Forums for the installation instructions for the EMS. You will need to tune the EMS after installing it.

i believe it does, it is plug and play....for the tuner!!!

do u have a lap top? if not u can't set it up, unless u plug it into your desk top!

go to R & D dyno or Church Automotive, shouldn't cost more than a couple hunded and u will have baseline dyno numbers and your car running well

Anyone know of any good AEM EMS tuners in the Toronto area?

I visited Ultimate Racing last week inquiring about their turbo kit. They seem to have more experience using the Greddy E-Manage piggy back ECU. However, I prefer to have a stand alone like the AEM.

Thanks in advance for any recommendations.
