Default AEM EMS with an Emanage Ultimate

Well, think I have decided to pick up an AEM EMS and I have a few questions.

Will the EMS for an AP1 work on an AP2?

Is the Vtec easy to adjust with the AEM

Do you anticipate any problems running the Emanage on top of the EMS (Using the Factory Program) until I can interpolate my Emanage map over to the EMS?

Other than a new MAP and wideband are there any other items you would recomend getting with the EMS?

You might need to get the water temp. fix, by what's his name, Modifry?

Otherwise your temp gauge won't work.

But since you'll probably be setting up the EMS, and tuning it, might as well set it up without the emanage ult, and sell it. Get the money back that you would spend on tuning. It work out that way.

Yes, I will only be piggy backing until I finsh the EMS tune then I will get rid of the rest.

I had forgot about the water temp gauge.

Please for the sake of your car. Don't bother piggybacking the AEM to the stock ecu and emanage setup as it simply won't work. It doesn't sound like you know nearly enough to be tuning it yourself so...
Either install the AEM which is very simple and have it towed to a tuner, or Install the AEM and get a GOOD base map and dirve it conservatively to the tuner, but only if it is within a safe distance.

Do a dry run on the aem install and then run it to the tuner on the emu setup. If you have all the wiring done the swap shouldn't take more than 10 minutes.

It is, but many install a few extra inputs and outputs. Nothing crazy, and most of that stays in place.

Definitely get Modifry's water temperature fix. It will alert you of a major problem before it destroys your motor.

i love that ECT from Modifry. It makes it so nice to know what temp you are ACTUALLY at.
