Please for the sake of your car. Don't bother piggybacking the AEM to the stock ecu and emanage setup as it simply won't work. It doesn't sound like you know nearly enough to be tuning it yourself so...
Either install the AEM which is very simple and have it towed to a tuner, or Install the AEM and get a GOOD base map and dirve it conservatively to the tuner, but only if it is within a safe distance.
The AEM EMS is not a piggyback. The Emanage Ultimate is a piggy back. The Emanage has I/O that manipulates the factory ECM's I/O. The Emanage does not affect the factory ECM in anyway. The Emanage would never know the difference between the AEM and Factory and vice versa.

Now, by running the Emanage on top of the AEM EMS, I can transfer all my injector tables, ignition and all the other settings. As I change a parameter and it works properly I will turn off settings in the Emanage until I disconnect it.

I tuned my own car and it runs great, other than the dyno I have everything I need. Anybody that has the time and willingness can produce a great tune. The difference is that a good tuner has the opportunity to spend lots of time squeezing every last once of power out of the car.

There's not one thing that Emanage Ult can do that EMS can't. It's like bringing a truckload of dirt to a construction site, and hiring a guy with a kiddie bucket to bring a little more.

How are you going the transfer the parameters? you mean use? As in setting up the EMS as a stock ECU, and the Ult. on top?

I know all of this. I have had all 3 emanage blue ultimate and now the 1052. You can look at any of my posts from the past 3 years. There is no reason to piggyback the greddy to the aem because the aem isn't the stock ecu period.

Unless the AEM has the EXACT settings as the stock ecu piggybacking the greddy will do NOTHING.

Like I said install the AEM get a base tune and go from there. I can send you one of my many if you would like.

Basically I am going to use the Emanage as a safety blanket.

I will set up the EMS with stock fuel and timing tables, then transfer my timing tables from the Emanage to the EMS (Excel will allow easy interpolation and manipulation). The same will be done with the any other important parameters. As each parameter is tested in the EMS I will disable it in the Emanage until everything is running properly and the Greddy is unplugged. Now the key in the event I run into trouble all I have to do is reload my Emanage tune and I am running great once again.

No that that is out of the way,

I have been assembling a list of items for the AEM change out.

Modifrys Coolant Temp device
Hondata Gasket
EGR Block Off
Coolant Line Block Off Caps
Science Of Speed 2.5 Bar Map

I plan to remove the Air Pump, EGR, TB/manifold coolant lines and other misc lines and tubing. I cannot wait to get rid of all of the extra crap.
