Default AEM EMS questions

I have the 30-1052u v1.19. How do you control the radiator fan? Right now my fan comes on 212*F and shuts off at 206*F. I would like it to be a little lower than that. Thanks in advance.

Go to Setup>Air Conditioner>Options
A/C output request input [Switch #6 Gnd=On]
A/C output #1 [LS6]
A/C output #2 [disable]

Then go to Options>Configure Outputs
LS8 (check active box)
coolant active when at least XXXF
load active when at least -13.90psi
rpm active when at least 0rpm
TPS active when at least 0%
Road spd active when at least 0mph

In the functions box below this check active box and check AFR switch box

My fans kick on at 176F(same as Mugen fan switch) but you can pick whatever temp

John Z, thank you. I will check mine tonight as my car displayed the same tendency as ex-eclipse's.

John, I still cant get the fan to work. In the instructions you posted up top there is an A/C output #1 and A/C output #2. My ems does not have these in Setup>Air Conditioner>Options?

^ ex-eclipse, sorry I lost this thread and never responded. If you have the latest firmware from AEM the above should work. What version are you running? What model EMS do you have?

Hmm I don't know why it's not working for you. I don't think I left out a step. Perhaps another EMS savvy person can chime in?
