Default aem ems tune for seasons?

Hi guys I'm trying to go FI real soon with either SC or TC. Depends on sale thread.
I'll be getting AEM EMS to go along with the kit. I dont know much about AEM EMS, hence my questions.

1. 1052 perfectly fits in stock ecu mount? if i get 1012 do i need to get extended harness?
2. I read in few threads that TC needs tune frequently as the climate changes. Is this true, as for me living in Dallas, TX.? how about SC with AEM EMS?

I cant think of any more questions atm

thanks guys in advance

1. Correct, the 1052 will fit but the 1012 needs a harness.
2. To an EMS, there is no difference between a TC or a SC so if one needs to be retuned the other would as well. Lucky for you, whatever you heard is untrue. Sure, retuning it would net you a few extra ponies but it is no required. The EMS is tuned off pressure which is affected by temperature / elevation / etc so when the climate changes your "tune" changes as well so everything is good. Plus, Dallas doesn't have much of season changes anyway so shouldn't make a load of difference.

PM huy@logic for a 1052u. Best price I've seen for a new unit anywhere. Do not forget to get that 255lph fuel pump and atleast 550cc or higher injectors! Forget the 1052, it's lovely but make your tuner happy with the 1052u. You'll get cool points for it.

And so you don't have any unreasonable expectations...the 1052 is not a "perfect" fit. It does fit in the space, but it does not bolt-in...it is actually a little smaller than the oem ecu. It will come with some 2-sided tape and you can get it to stay in place with that and using the kick-panel pressing against it.
